4. Advertising and Marketing
All advertising and marketing by DETOUR Realty and its agents must be non-discriminatory in content, targeting, and placement.
We prohibit language, imagery, targeting practices, or selection criteria that express, imply, or result in discrimination against protected classes.
Where required or appropriate, DETOUR Realty uses the Equal Housing Opportunity logo/statement in advertising and materials.
5. Agent Expectations
All DETOUR Realty agents and affiliated licensees are expected to:
Know and follow fair housing laws applicable to their practice; Provide equal professional service to all clients and customers; Avoid assumptions, stereotypes, or coded language about people or neighborhoods; Promptly escalate questions or concerns to brokerage leadership; and Complete required fair housing education and company compliance training.
6. Client Expectations
DETOUR Realty will not accept instructions from clients that require unlawful discrimination.
If a client requests that housing opportunities be limited, prioritized, or excluded based on a protected characteristic, DETOUR Realty will refuse that request and may terminate the representation if necessary to remain in compliance with law and this Statement.
7. Reporting Concerns
Anyone who believes they have experienced or witnessed discriminatory conduct involving DETOUR Realty, its agents, or its services is encouraged to report it promptly.
